Bela barva ni barva predaje, ampak upanja!

Ob zaprtih trgovinah, odpovedi fotografiranj ter odsotnosti zaposlenih, se zdi prihodnost modne industrije zelo nejasna. V najboljših časih so modni časopisi prodajali fantazijo in zabavo, kako pa naj bodo videti v času pandemije?

Odgovor: bela prazna stran, ki jo je Vogue Italia postavil kar na naslovnico svoje aprilske številke. Ker koronavirus še vedno pustoši po Italiji, ga je revija vzela zelo resno.

je zapisala glavna in odgovorna urednica Emanuele Farneti.

Farnetijeva je za to številko imela tri cilje: zamisliti si življenje po pandemiji brez samopomilovanja, zbrati skupnost umetnikov, ki so obtičali doma, da ustvarijo posnetek življenja v novem svetu, in da natisne popolnoma belo naslovnico – prvič v zgodovini revije.

Vogue Italia je izbral belo barvo kot simbol za svetlejšo prihodnost. Bela je tudi barva uniforme, ki jo nosijo medicinski delavci v prvih linijah in s tem ogrožajo svoja življenja, da bi rešili druge. Prazen prostor pa je urednica namenila za prihodnja ustvarjalna prizadevanja.
